CAFE AU LAIT

A website for a coffee house. Technologies used HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript. Converted the code to Model, View and Controller structure on CodeIgniter.a website for a coffee house. CHAT ROOM

A chat room where two people can meet virtually and get to know each other by exchanging messages. Node.js is used along with popular modules like express.js, jade, socket.io, underscore and body-parser.

EMAIL APPLICATION

A replica of Google email system using Angular JS. HTML is used. Styled using CSS. Email Controller and view are added and JSON file is used for every message.

QUALITY OF CARE

A PHP based application which retrieves data from dataset, applies statistical rules on it and helps you identify the most suitable hospital for you based on your illness, your budget and your location.

STUDENT PAYMENT RECORD SYSTEM

A payment record system to keep track of every student's payment details, add late charges if payment exceeds due date. Used Bootstrap Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and PHP.

ASSOCIATION RULE MINING

A project to eliminate null values by using the association rule mining technique in Java. Also implemented the  same algorithm, in C, and run the code on Stampede to eliminate multiple null values in parallel.

RE-ENGINEERING A SYSTEM

Re-engineered a Java based system. Used the N-process model and methodology for re-engineering to add new requirements. Created a set of 10 deliverables including but not limited to Project Artifact List (PAL), Use cases, Domain model, Class and Sequence Diagrams, Test Cases. Language used here was Java.

CHARACTER RECOGNITION USING IMAGE PROCESSING

Scanned the printed and handwritten Kannada characters, converted them into complex number. Used Fast Fourier Transforms and converted them into a set of 10 descriptors, which were stored and used with different algorithms. Used Multilayer Perceptron and Support Vector Machines to train and test the descriptor dataset.

• Engaged in client meetings along with the creative team to guide the website development process with best practices from the initial client interaction.

• Participated with the team to determine the look and feel of the sites and to provide ideas for the best way to deliver the website's marketing strategies while meeting the branding objectives for clients.

• Created custom websites for clients through the utilization of Bootstrap 3, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and PHP as demanded by the functionalities of the website. Delivering the navigation, page layout, and functionality as needed.

• Provided monthly content updates for a variety of clients. Performed weekly backups, and installed software updates to websites hosted by the team. Fixed the site on occasions when the update broke it.

• Created a software for inventory management in order to maintain the inventory of stock transfer.

• Created functionalities to add new entry, update the entry and delete the entry of products.

• Created multiple item descriptions like ID, item_name, price, and year_of_manufacture.

• Used MySQL and PLSQL for management of the database.

• Made use of Java, JDBC for connection to the database, servlets, and JSP.

• Used the IBM tool Rational Application Developer for the UI.

• Learned the agile development process and delivered the project in a number of iterations. Each sprint lasted between one to two weeks. 

• Documented user stories and worked on meeting the client requirements.
